How Can We Help

Why Therapy?

People seek therapy for a multitude of reasons. Often they feel dissatisfied with their lives, their relationships, or themselves for reasons that they may or may not be clear about It is not uncommon for people to begin to recognise, on reflection, repetitive self-defeating behaviours or ways of relating in their lives. This often leads them to want to make deeper changes to their way of living and their sense of self.

Why counselling?

Many of the same things motivate people to seek counselling but frequently there are also specific and particularly challenging life situations that arise and create a felt need to find better solutions, to problem-solve, or to make emotional adjustments. Sometimes these circumstances are a natural consequence of life-stage transitions: sometimes they are the result of loss, trauma, or overwhelming change.
